GLOBAL EQUITY MARKET OF 24th March 2021

Asian stocks were traded lower on Wednesday as the cost of the U.S. stimulus and infrastructure plans and new pandemic curbs limited investors' risk appetite.

In Asia, the set composite surged 0.42%, straits times gained 0.05% whereas the Nikkei 225 lost 2.04%, the hang seng fell 2.03%, SGX Nifty plunged 1.83%, Jakarta composites dived 1.54%, shanghai composites slumped 1.30%,Taiwan weighted fell 0.90%.

European stocks continued to struggle on Wednesday, as extended lockdowns in Germany and the Netherlands have sparked concerns of a slower economic recovery for the region.

In Europe, the CAC lost 0.13%, FTSE fell 0.16% and the DAX plunged 0.40%.
