Asian Equity Market rose on Thursday after the Federal Reserve ramped up its outlook for the US economy but reiterated its pledge to maintain its ultra-loose market-friendly monetary policies for as long as needed.
In Asia, Hong kong’s Hang seng surged 1.28%,Indonesia’s Jakarta composite rose 1.12%,Tokyo’s Nikkei 225 jumped 1.01%, Singapore’s straits times gained 0.90%,korea’s Kospi surged 0.61%,China’s shanghai rose 0.51% while Singapore’s SGX Nifty plunged by 1.21%.
European stocks moved slightly higher on Thursday as markets around the world react to the Federal Reserve’s latest outlook on the U.S. economy.
In Europe, the DAX gained 1.17%, CAC surged 0.21%, FTSE jumped 0.07%.
U.S. stock futures edged lower, with investors selling government bonds and richly valued technology stocks.
