GLOBAL EQUITY MARKET OF 17th March 2021

Asian Equity Market ended lower on Wednesday as investors weigh the strength of the economic recovery in anticipation of the Federal Reserve’s policy statement.

In Asia, the set composite surged 0.17%, straits times rose 0.13%, hang seng gained 0.02% whereas the SGX Nifty plunged 1.35%, Kospi lost 0.64%, Taiwan weighted fell 0.60%, Jakarta composites declined 0.51%, shanghai composites lost 0.03%.

European equity Market traded lower on Wednesday as global investors awaited the outcome from the latest meeting of the Federal Reserve.

In Europe, the DAX surged 0.03%, CAC plunged 0.13%, FTSE lost 1.41%.

U.S. Equity Market traded lower as investors awaited the outcome of the Federal Open Market Committee meeting.
