BHARTI AIRTEL TRADED WITH A POSITIVE NOTE IN THE MORNING SESSION

Bharti Airtel traded positively on the morning session after global research firm Morgan Stanley maintained buy call on the stock.

The Rise Fund to invest $200 million in Airtel Mobile Commerce (AMC) BV, the mobile money business of Airtel's Africa unit.

Bharti Airtel has become the latest telecom operator to make upfront payment to the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) for the purchase made in the recently concluded spectrum auctions.

Bharti Airtel picked up 355.45 MHz of spectrum worth Rs 18,698.75 crore in the 800 MHz, 900 MHz, 1800 MHz, 2100 MHz, and 2300 MHz bands.

The stock was trading at Rs.532.05,up by 4.85 points or 0.92%.It touched intraday high of Rs.534.40 and low of Rs.525.50.Market Cap of the stock was at Rs.29026292.91 Lakh.
