GLOBAL EQUITY MARKET OF 19th JAN 2021

Asian Market traded higher on Tuesday as investors remained optimistic that economic growth in China will help support growth in the Asian region.

The Hang Seng gained 2.70%,the Kospi surged 2.61%, the SGX Nifty ran 1.96%, the Taiwan weighted jumped 1.70% and the Nikkei 225 rose 1.39%. The Jakarta composites fell 1.06% and the Shanghai Composite lost 0.83%.

European stocks traded higher on Tuesday on hopes that an economic recovery following the coronavirus pandemic is not far off.

The DAX is up 0.19% and FTSE is up 0.19% while France's CAC 40 is down 0.03%.

U.S. stock futures moved higher early Tuesday as Wall Street looked to bounce back from a rough week ahead of President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration Wednesday.
