GLOBAL EQUITY MARKET OF 13th JAN 2021

Asian stock markets were mixed on Wednesday shrugging off uncertainty about a possible new attempt to impeach President Donald Trump over last week’s attack on the U.S. Capitol.

The Taiwan weighted gained 1.74%, Nikkei 225 rose 1.04%, kospi jumped 0.71%,Jakarta composites gained 0.62%.The Shanghai composites lose 0.27%, the hang seng plunged 0.15%.

European stocks were mixed on Wednesday as investors monitor vaccine rollouts and coronavirus containment measures.

The CAC 40 is up 0.05% while Germany's DAX is off 0.10% and London's FTSE 100 is lower by 0.14%.
