INDIAN EQUITY BENCHMARK INDICES RECOVERED FROM THE MORNING LOSSES AND ENDED IN GREEN

Domestic Equity Market erased all the morning losses and showed a positive sign led by strong buying in the IT and private banking stocks.Net Buying of FII/FPI was at Rs.986.30 crore while Net Selling of DII was at Rs.490.03 crore. The BSE Sensex gained 260.98 points, or 0.54 points, to 48,437.78 levels with shares of Axis Bank,HDFC, IndusInd Bank, TCS, Asian Paints, HCL Tech, Titan were having gains of 6.31%, 2.78%, 2.68%, 1.75%, 1.40%, 1.19%, 1.17% respectively while shares of ONGC,Bajaj Finance, NTPC, Mahindra & Mahindra, Reliance, Bajaj Finserv were the losers with a loss of 2.06%, 1.83%, 1.31%, 1.28%, 1.24%, 0.92% respectively. The Nifty up 66.60 points or 0.47% at 14,199.50 levels with indexes like IT, Bank, Media were having gains of 2.62%, 1.63%, 0.67% respectively while Metal,Energy, Realty Indexes were the losers with a loss of 1.41%, 0.61%, 0.35% respectively.

HDFC Ltd surged nearly 3% after individual loan disbursements rose 26 percent in the third quarter ending December 2020.

IndusInd Bank rose over 2% as deposits of the bank in Q3 was up 11 percent YoY and up 5 percent QoQ.

TCS gained over 1% as the company is expected to announce robust revenue growth of about 2.6% quarter-on-quarter in constant currency.

Bajaj Finance lost nearly 2% as the company’s AUM fell 1 percent YoY to Rs 1.43 lakh crore in Q3FY21.
