RIL SHARES WERE UP BY 0.31%,TOUCHED HIGH OF 1,944.65 IN THE EARLY TRADE

Reliance Industries limited( RIL) was trading at Rs.1930.30,higher by 6.00 points or 0.31%.It touched intraday high of 1,944.65 and low of 1,920.00.Market Capitalisation of the company was at Rs.1222687.93 crore. The NSE Nifty was trading at 14,974.50,higher by 0.53% or 78.85 points while BSE Sensex was trading 281.70 points or 0.56% higher at 50,895.99.

Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) has sold its stake in a shale gas asset in the US to Northern Oil and Gas Inc for $250 million. The company has been divesting these assets over the past five years as the business has been adversely affected by falling crude prices.

The company has sourced the world's first consignment of 'carbon-neutral oil' from the US as it looks to become a net zero-carbon company by 2035.
