GOLD PRICE CONTINUE TO FALL AS US TREASURY CLIMBS

Crude oil Feb future ended lower on Thursday after giving back all of its earlier gains. On Today, Crude oil was trading negatively, down by 1.27% at Rs. 4359 per barrel. Natural Gas Feb future was also trading lower by 2.35% to Rs. 219.80 per mmBtu in early morning session.

Gold prices have seen the worst week since November 30 as there has been continuous surge in US Treasury yield. On MCX, Gold Apr future was trading down by 0.19% at Rs. 46040 per 10 gm and Silver Mar future down by 0.79% at Rs. 67952 per kg.

Base metals traded positively in morning session. Lead Feb stood as top gainer and continued to traded with gains in morning session. Nickel up by 0.72%, Copper gained by 0.71%. Copper prices traded off the nine years highs as supply deficit fears continued to boost buying.
