Asian shares mostly traded lower on Thursday as caution set in over company earnings reports, recent choppy trading in technology stocks and prospects for more economic stimulus for a world battling a pandemic.
In Asia, the Jakarta composites gained 0.48%, SGX Nifty rose 0.35%, set composites surged 0.08% whereas the Kospi lost 1.35%, Nikkei 225 fell 1.06%,straits times plunged 0.75%,Hang seng lost 0.66%.
European stocks traded higher on Thursday morning as investors remain focused on earnings reports and developments on the coronavirus pandemic.
In Europe, The DAX is higher by 0.17% and CAC is up 0.18%, while London's FTSE 100 is off 0.04%.
