GLOBAL EQUITY MARKET OF 26th FEB 2021

Asian shares tumbled on Friday after rising bond yields triggered a broad sell-off on Wall Street that erased the markets gain for the week and handed the Nasdaq composite index its steepest loss since October.

In Asia, the set composites was the only gainer with a gain of 0.38% whereas the SGX Nifty lost 4.32%,Nikkei 225 fell 3.99%, hang seng plunged 3.65%, Taiwan weighted dived 3.03%,kospi lost 2.80%, shanghai composite fell 2.12%,straits times lost 0.82%.

European stocks fell on Friday as investors booked profits in high-flying technology shares due to concerns over rising inflation and interest rates on the back of a jump in bond yields.

In Europe, the DAX dove 0.12%, CAC lost 0.30%, FTSE plunged 0.35%.
