GLOBAL EQUITY MARKET OF 24th FEB 2021

Asian Equity market traded lower on Wednesday on concerns about rising interest rates and rich equity valuations and following a downdraft in U.S. and European overnight trading.

In Asia, the straits times gained 1.17%, SGX Nifty surged 0.63% while the hang seng lost 2.99%,kospi fell 2.45%, shanghai composites lost 1.99%,Nikkei 225 plunged 1.61%,Taiwan weighted lost 1.40%, set composites fell 0.63% respectively.

European shares rose on Wednesday as strong commodity prices helped outweigh mixed corporate earnings updates.

In Europe, the DAX surged 0.90%, CAC rose 0.19% whereas the FTSE lost 0.12%.
