GLOBAL EQUITY MARKET OF 22nd FEB 2021

Asian equity Market traded mixed on Monday as hopes for a recovery from the coronavirus pandemic with the global rollout of vaccines were countered by worries about inflation and continuing economic damage.

In Asia, the Nikkei 225 gained 0.46%, Taiwan weighted surged 0.42%, Jakarta composites rose 0.38%, straits times gained 0.02% while the SGX Nifty lost 2.04%,set composite fell 1.49%,shanghai composites plunged 1.45%,hang seng declined 1.06%,kospi lost 0.90%.

European Equity Markets plunged on Monday as concerns over the risk of higher inflation due to a jump in commodity prices tempered optimism around a vaccine-led economic recovery.

In Europe, the FTSE lost 0.93%,Dax fell 0.80% and the CAC plunged 0.79% .
