GLOBAL EQUITY MARKET OF 10th FEB 2021

Asian Equity Market traded higher on Wednesday as upbeat earnings, hopes of a large U.S. fiscal stimulus and progress in vaccinations fanned optimism about a global recovery from the pandemic.

In Asia, the hang seng gained 1.91%, shanghai composites surged 1.43%, Taiwan weighted rose 0.61%, Kospi was up 0.52%, Jakarta composites gained 0.33%, Nikkei 225 surged 0.19% while the SGX Nifty lost 0.58%, Straits times fell 0.32%, set composites plunged 0.21%.

European stocks were modestly higher on Wednesday as traders digest a slew of new corporate earnings.

In Europe, the FTSE 100 is up 0.20% while the CAC 40 gains 0.14%. The DAX is off 0.02%.
