COMMODITY MARKET NEWS: MARKET TRADE POSITIVELY, NATURAL GAS GAINS NEARLY 6%

All the commodities trade higher on MCX after opened in positive note. Natural gas was trading up by 5.72% to Rs. 220.10 per mmBtu.

Freezing temperatures are driving liquefied natural gas (LNG) prices to record highs and pushing up the cost of shipping the fuel globally as buyers grapple with tight inventories and a shortage of tankers.

Oil prices climbed on Friday to their highest levels in a year, extending a run of strong gains this week, boosted by the continued commitment of producers to hold back crude supply and positive signs of economic growth in the United States. Crude futures jumped 0.80 per cents, to Rs. 4143 a barrel on MCX.

Bullion Price and Agri commodities were also trading positively in early morning trade.
