NTPC LIMITED TRADED UP BY 2.45% ;HIT AN HIGH OF Rs.102.80

NTPC limited was trading at 101.80,up by 2.45 points or 2.47%.It hit intraday high of Rs.102.80 and low of Rs.99.55.The stock was opened at Rs.99.70 as against the previous close of Rs.99.35.

NTPC Limited has invited bids for the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of up to 300 MW of grid-connected solar photovoltaic projects along with land in Gujarat.

The individual project capacity must be at least 25 MW or higher in multiples of 5 MW. Bidders are expected to quote bids for at least 50 MW up to a maximum of 300 MW. Only open category photovoltaic cells and modules must be used for the project.

NTPC Limited has started releasing compensation to the families of Tapovan workers, who have lost their lives in the Uttarakhand natural disaster that hit the state on February 7.
