HERO MOTO CORP HAS REACHED ICONIC LANDMARK IN PROVIDING MOBILITY TO THE ASPIRATIONS OF MILLIONS AROUND THE WORLD

Hero Moto Corp, the world's largest two-wheeler manufacturer by volumes, reached an iconic landmark, by rolling out its 100 millionth motorcycle, cumulative, from the Haridwar plant in Uttarakhand. Hero's 100 millionth two-wheeler was the Hero Xtreme 160R, its premium 160 cc commuter motorcycle.

The stock is trading 9.75 points or 0.28% higher at 3,504.75 .It touched intraday high of 3,529.00 and low of 3,456.35.Market cap of the stock is at Rs 70,105.45 crore.

The alliance with American motorcycle maker Harley Davidson is likely to help Hero MotoCorp Ltd become a formidable player in the middleweight motorcycle segment as the company plans to leverage Harley’s brand recall to increase its market share.

For the Q3FY21, the company reported a Consolidated sales of Rs 9827.05 Crore, up 3.73 % from last quarter Sales of Rs 9473.32 Crore and up 38.91 % from last year same quarter Sales of Rs 7074.53 Crore.
