CRUDE OIL FUTURES ROSE SLIGHTLY ON TODAY ON SPOT DEMAND

At the MCX, Crude Oil futures for Oct contract was trading at Rs. 2879.00 per barrel, up by 0.07% after opening at Rs.2875.00 per barrel, against a previous close of Rs. 2877.00 per barrel. It touched an intra-day low of Rs.2855.00 per barrel and high of Rs. 2896.00 per barrel in the future market.

Crude oil prices on Wednesday rose by 0.07 to Rs 2,879.00 per barrel as participants widened their positions on firm spot demand.

Natural Gas plunged on today on account of the milder weather forecast and position squaring near the contract expiry.

Gold dipped on Wednesday as the dollar ticked up after Republican President Donald Trump and Democratic rival Joe Biden sparred in the first U.S. presidential debate ahead of the Nov. 3 election.

Silver prices dropped to Rs 60,979.00 per kg on September 30 despite participants increasing their long positions, as seen by the open interest.

On Multi Commodity Exchange, Commodities like Cotton, Crude Oil, Nickel, Mentha Oil futures were the gainers, gained by 0.39%, 0.07%,0.06%,0.04% respectively. On other hand, Silver, Natural Gas, MCX Bulldex, Gold, GoldM, Gold Guinea, Gold Petal, Lead, Aluminium, Copper, CPO Futures were the losers, lose by 2.38%,1.70%,0.97%, 0.65%, 0.58%,0.56%,0.51%,0.48%,0.21%,0.15%,0.01% respectively. Zinc Future has a flat note.
