CRUDE OIL FUTURES ROSE ON SPOT DEMAND

At the MCX, Crude Oil futures for Oct contract was trading at Rs. 2955.00 per barrel, up by 0.27% after opening at Rs.2918.00 per barrel, against a previous close of Rs. 2947.00 per barrel. It touched an intra-day low of Rs. 2905.00 per barrel and high of Rs. 2965.00 per barrel in the future market.

Crude oil futures traded higher on Thursday as participants increased their long positions.

Natural gas futures climbed to Rs 164.60 per mmBtu on September 24 as participants increased their long positions.

Silver prices slid to Rs 56891.00 per kg on September 24 weighed down by firmness in the Dollar Index and weakness in equity indices.

Gold prices traded lower on Thursday, weighed down by a robust dollar, with investors looking to U.S. jobless claims data due later in the day to further gauge the pace of a recovery in the world's largest economy.

On Multi Commodity Exchange, Commodities like Natural Gas, Crude Oil, Cotton futures were the gainers, gained by 6.74%,0.27%, 0.17% respectively. On other hand, Silver, CPO, Nickel, Zinc, MCX Bulldex, Lead, Copper, Mentha Oil, GoldM ,Gold Guinea ,Gold, Gold Petal, Aluminium were the losers, lose by 2.73%,1.92%, 0.86%, 0.82%, 0.74%, 0.58%,0.58%,0.54%, 0.24%, 0.22%,0.21%,0.16%, 0.14% respectively.
