CRUDE OIL ERASED ALL EARLY LOSSES AND TRADED WITH GAINS IN THE AFTERNOON SESSION

At the MCX, Crude Oil futures for Oct contract was trading at Rs. 2939.00 per barrel, up by 0.65% after opening at Rs.2956.00 per barrel, against a previous close of Rs. 2920.00 per barrel. It touched an intra-day low of Rs. 2894.00 per barrel and high of Rs. 2962.00 per barrel in the future market.

Crude oil prices gained erasing early losses after API reported build up in US weekly inventory.

Natural gas futures were steady at Rs 145.20 per mmBtu on September 23 as participants increased their long positions as seen by the open interest.

Silver prices continued its downward spiral to Rs 59225.00 per kg on September 23 as participants increased their short positions as seen by the open interest.

Crude palm oil futures fell over 2 percent to Rs 776.00 per 10 kg on September 23 as participants increased their short position.

On Multi Commodity Exchange, Commodities like Natural Gas, Crude Oil, Aluminium futures were the gainers, gained by 8.04%,0.65%, 0.10% respectively. On other hand, Crude Oil, Silver, MCX Bulldex, CPO ,Nickel, Gold Petal, Gold Guinea, GoldM, Gold, Copper, Copper, Cotton, Lead, Zinc, Mentha Oil were the losers, lose by 4.71%,3.25%, 2.24%, 2.19%, 1.11%, 0.96%, 0.91%, 0.85%, 0.84%, 0.63%, 0.61%,0.31%,0.21%, 0.07% respectively.
