CRUDE OIL FUTURES FELL ON LOW DEMAND

At the MCX, Crude oil futures for Nov contract was trading at Rs. 3010.00 per barrel, down by 0.27%, after opening at Rs.3010.00 per barrel, against a previous close of Rs. 3018.00 per barrel. It touched an intra-day low of Rs. 2992.00 per barrel and high of Rs.3030.00 per barrel in the future market.

Crude oil traded lower on Tuesday on worries about a resurgence of coronavirus cases globally stifling a promising recovery in fuel demand.

Gold Futures was trading with negative note on Tuesday following a muted trend in the international spot prices.

Natural gas futures traded firm at Rs 209.10 per mmBtu on October 20 as participants increased their long positions.

Silver futures on Tuesday dropped 0.09 to Rs 62,041.00 per kg as participants reduced their bets on low demand.

On Multi Commodity Exchange, Commodities like Natural Gas, Nickel, Zinc, CPO, Copper, MCX Metldex, Cotton, Mentha Oil futures were the gainers, gained by 3.93%,0.92%,0.33%,0.27%,0.26%,0.25%,0.15%,0.09% respectively. While Commodities like Cardamom, Crude Oil, Gold Petal ,GoldM, Gold Guinea ,MCX Bulldex, Gold, Silver, Lead, Aluminium futures were the losers with a loss of 1.19%, 0.27%, 0.185, 0.16%, 0.14%, 0.12%, 0.11%, 0.09%, 0.07%, 0.07% respectively.
