NATURAL GAS WAS THE ONLY GAINER ON MULTI COMMODITY EXCHANGE OF INDIA LIMITED (MCX)

At the MCX, Crude Oil futures for Oct contract was trading at Rs. 2944.00 per barrel, down by 2.00% after opening at Rs.3011.00 per barrel, against a previous close of Rs. 3004.00 per barrel. It touched an intra-day low of Rs. 2923.00 per barrel and high of Rs. 3016.00 per barrel in the future market.

Crude oil futures on Thursday fell by 2.00 per cent to Rs 2,944.00 per barrel as participants reduced their positions on low demand.

Natural gas futures traded firm at Rs 202.10 per mmBtu on October 15 as participants increased their long positions.

Gold Futures traded lower on Thursday as as market players continue to assess development relating to US stimulus.

Silver futures prices tumble to Rs 60518.00 per kg on October 15 as participants increased their short positions as seen in the open interest data.

On Multi Commodity Exchange, Commodities like Natural Gas futures was the gainer, gained by 2.43%. On other hand, Crude Oil ,Lead, Silver, CPO, Aluminium, MCX Bulldex, Nickel, Gold Petal, GoldM, Gold, Gold Guinea, Copper, Mentha Oil, Cotton, Zinc Futures were the losers, lose by 2.00%,1.99%, 1.76%, 1.60%, 0.73%, 0.61%,0.44%, 0.29%, 0.29%, 0.26%, 0.25%, 0.24%, 0.24%, 0.21%,0.08% respectively.
