INDIAN EQUITY MARKET REMAINS VOLATILE AND ENDED THE SESSION IN NEGATIVE TERITORRY

Domestic Equity Market was very volatile and ended in negative territory dragged by losses in bank and IT stocks and heavyweight RIL. The release of gross domestic product (GDP) numbers for the second quarter (July-September period) of the current fiscal has also impacted the investors sentiment. Midcap stocks Shine in today’s session by recording gains around 2%.The BSE Sensex dropped 0.25% with stocks like Powergrid, HCL Tech, ONGC, Axis Bank, TCS, M & M ,Reliance, Infosys, Bharti Airtel lose by 2.63%,2.39%, 2.12%, 1.75%, 1.53%, 1.23%, 1.18%,1.07% respectively whereas stocks like Asian Paints, Titan, Tech Mahindra, Tata Steel, Bajaj Finance, Bajaj Auto somehow helped the index by recording gains of 2.85%, 2.32%, 2.20%, 1.57%, 1.56%, 1.36% respectively. The NSE Nifty plunged 18.05 points with Energy and IT Indexes lose 0.58%, 0.43% respectively .On the Other Hand Realty, Media, Auto Indexes surged 2.65%, 1.48%, 1.41% subsequently.

TOP STOCKS IN NEWSCAST:

Shares of Tata Motors rose over 2% ahead of the November month sales numbers, which release next week.

Hero Moto Corp rose 2% as the company appointed global Mobility Expert Michael Clarke to the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer(COO).

Tata steel jumped over one and half percent as the company targets to raise around $7-8 billion from sale of IJmuiden Steelworks in Netherlands to Swedish steel giant SSAB.
