DAILY CURRENCY MARKET 24th NOV 2020

In opening trade, The Indian rupee was unchanged against the US dollar amid firm domestic equities on Tuesday. In the end of the day, Rupee closed 12 paise higher at Rs. 73.99 against us dollar tracking strong demand in domestic equities and weak American currency. USD/INR touched intraday low of 73.87 and high of 74.14. Meanwhile, Sensex ended at 44,523.02, up 445.87 points or 1.01 per cent while NSE barometer Nifty settled at 13055.15 up 128.70 points or 1.00 per cent.

The Indian currency (INR) was trading at 87.93 as against Euro. The currency pair EUR/INR opened at 87.78 which was previously close at 88.01. The Currency pair GBP/INR and JPY/INR were trading at 98.88 and 0.70 respectively. The other currency pairs ZAR/INR, MYR/INR, SAR/INR and AED/INR were trading at 4.82, 18.05, 19.74 and 20.16 subsequently.

USD/JPY was trading 104.14 to 104.64 throughout the day. Currently, the pair was trading at 104.35. The currency pair EUR/USD was trading at 1.18. The paired currency EUR/JPY was trading at 123.92. Elsewhere, the currency pair GBP/USD was trading at 1.33. The other currencies pairs AUD/USD, NZD/USD, MYR/USD and SAR/USD were trading at 0.74, 0.70, 0.24 and 0.27 respectively.
