CRUDE OIL FELL ON WORRIES A SWATHE OF CORONAVIRUS

At the MCX, Crude Oil futures for Dec contract was trading at Rs. 2615.00 Per Barrel, down by 1.02%, after opening at Rs.2573.00 Per Barrel, against a previous close of Rs. 2642.00 Per Barrel. It touched an intra-day low of Rs. 2540.00 Per Barrel and high of Rs.2618.00 Per Barrel in the future market.

Crude Oil prices fell more than 1% on Monday on worries a swathe of corona virus lockdowns across Europe will weaken fuel demand.

Natural gas futures traded lower at Rs 245.30 per mmBtu on November 2 as participants increased their short positions as seen by the open interest.

Gold ticked higher on Monday as caution crept in ahead of Tuesday's hotly contested U.S. presidential elections, sparking some bids for the safe-haven metal, though a resilient dollar capped gains.

Silver prices declined to 61974.00 per kg amid signs of expanding global economic momentum adversely hit the commodity.

On Multi Commodity Exchange, Commodities like Silver, MCX Bulldex, Zinc, Mentha Oil, Gold, GoldM , Gold petal, Gold Guinea futures were the gainers, gained by 1.82%, 0.60%, 0.35%, 0.33%,0.33%, 0.27%,0.20%, 0.19% respectively. While Commodities like Cotton, Crude Oil, Natural Gas ,CPO, Lead, Nickel, Aluminium futures were the losers with a loss of 1.18%,1.02%,0.97%,0.43%, 0.37%, 0.34%, 0.26%, 0.09%, 0.02% respectively.
