CRUDE OIL SLIPPED ON TODAY’S SESSION AS CORONA VIRUS CASES RISES

At the MCX, Crude Oil futures for Dec contract was trading at Rs. 3098.00 Per Barrel, down by 1.56%, after opening at Rs.3098.00 Per Barrel, against a previous close of Rs. 3124.00 Per Barrel. It touched an intra-day low of Rs. 3046.00 Per Barrel and high of Rs.3109.00 Per Barrel in the future market.

Crude Oil prices fell on Wednesday as surging COVID-19 cases and widening lockdowns raised fears over fuel demand, offsetting further upbeat vaccine news.

Gold Futures traded lower on Thursday as encouraging developments relating to COVID-19 vaccines have raised hopes of a more rapid recovery in the global economy, even as new coronavirus cases continued to rise.

Silver Futures fell on Thursday as hopes of a Covid vaccine outweighed concerns over a short-term lockdown globally.

Copper futures on Thursday slipped 0.29% to Rs 540.80 per kg as participants cut down their positions amid muted demand in the domestic market.

On Multi Commodity Exchange, Commodities like Cotton, Lead, Mentha Oil, MCX Metldex, Nickel futures were the gainers, gained by 0.50%, 0.32%,0.07%, 0.05%, 0.02% respectively. While Commodities like Narural Gas, Silver, Crude Oil, MCX Bulldex, CPO, Gold, GoldM, Gold Petal, Gold Guinea, Copper, Zinc, futures were the losers with a loss of 2.02%, 1.87%, 1.56%, 0.84%, 0.78%, 0.60%, 0.58%, 0.57%, 0.53%, 0.29%, 0.02% respectively.
