Asian shares were mixed on Wednesday as the boost from President Donald Trump’s signing of the coronavirus relief package faded.
The Hang Seng gained 2.18%, the Kospi rose 1.88%, the Taiwan Weighted surged 1.49% and the Shanghai Composite rose 1.05%. The Jakarta Composite fell 0.95%, the set Composite plunged 0.86% ,the Nikkei 225 lost 0.45%.
European stocks traded higher on Wednesday amid more positive vaccine news in the region.
The CAC 40 is up 0.12% while London's FTSE 100 is up 0.16% and Germany's DAX is up 0.11%.
North and South American markets finished mixed as of the most recent closing prices. The IPC gained 1.85% and the Bovespa rose 0.24%. The S&P 500 lost 0.22%.
