GLOBAL EQUITY MARKET OF 2nd DEC 2020

European stocks traded lower on Wednesday, tracking mixed sentiment in their U.S. and Asia-Pacific counterparts.

In Europe, FTSE Index trading higher at 6,392.04,up by 0.11% on hopes for more U.S. fiscal stimulus as well as Covid-19 vaccine expectations while CAC and DAX traded lower.

Asian shares rose on Wednesday on hopes for additional U.S. economic stimulus and a coronavirus vaccine.

In Asia, SGX Nifty up 0.02% at 13,154.00, Nikkei 225 rose 0.05% to 26,800.98, Taiwan Weighted jumped 0.75% to 13,989.14 and KOSPI rose 1.58% at 2,675.90 whereas Straits Times lose 0.11% at 2,810.95, Hang Seng plunged 0.13% at 26,532.58.

U.S. stocks started December by rising to record highs as a renewal of aid talks added to optimism over progress on coronavirus vaccines.

In US, Nasdaq traded 1.28% higher at 12,355.11.
