GLOBAL EQUITY MARKET OF 22nd DEC 2020

European market traded higher on Tuesday morning as investors sentiment was shaken by a new coronavirus strain in the U.K.

The DAX is up 1.03% while the FTSE gains 0.28%. The CAC is up 0.92%.

Shares in Asia-Pacific declined on Tuesday following investor jitters overnight on Wall Street over a new coronavirus strain in the U.K.

The SGX Nifty rose 1.66% while The Set Composite surged 1.61%.On the other hand ,the Shanghai Composite was down 1.86%, the Kospi fell 1.62% while Japan's Nikkei 225 was off 1.04% and Hong Kong's Hang Seng was lower by 0.71%.

North and South American markets finished broadly lower on Monday with shares in Brazil leading the region. The Bovespa is down 1.86% while Mexico's IPC is off 1.43% and U.S.'s S&P 500 is lower by 0.39%.
