GLOBAL EQUITY MARKET OF 10th DEC 2020

Asian stock markets are mostly lower on Thursday following the negative cues from Wall Street after a sell-off in tech stocks.

IN Asia,SGX Nifty fell 0.02% at 13,522.00,Nikkei lose 0.23% at 26,756.24,Straits Times plunged 0.64% at 2,824.96,Hang Seng fell 0.35% at 26,410.59,Taiwan Weighted lose 0.98% at 14,249.49,Jakarta Composites lose 0.18% at5,933.70.Set Composites and Shanghai Composite gained 0.25%, 0.04% respectively.

European stocks were muted on Thursday as markets tracked the parlous state of Brexit trade deal talks between the U.K. and EU this week.

In Europe, FTSE, CAC, DAX Indices were trading with gains with a gain of 0.50%, 0.37%, 0.15% respectively.

U.S. stock index futures moved slightly higher early Thursday as investors continued to assess progress on additional stimulus measures, as well as developments on the Covid-19 vaccine front.
