INDIAN EQUITY MARKET TRIMMED LOSSES TO CLOSE FLAT ON TODAY’S SESSION

Domestic Equity Market bounced back from the losses and ended flat on Today’s session led by gains in heavyweights Bajaj Finance, Bajaj Finserv, HDFC Bank and HDFC. However, the decline in RIL, ICICI Bank, HUL, and TCS capped the gains.Net Buying of FII/FPI was at Rs.2,484.09 crore while Net selling of DII was at Rs.2,666.79 crore. The BSE Sensex ended at 46,263.17 levels, up 9.71 points, or 0.02 per cent with 15 stocks in advance while 15 stocks were in decline. Shares of Bajaj Finance ,Bajaj Finserv, HDFC, Tech Mahindra ,HDFC Bank, Ultratech Cement were the topmost gainers with a gain of 4.69%, 4.15%, 2.19%, 2.08%, 1.50%, 1.49% respectively while Shares of HUL, Nestle India, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, SBI ,TCS were the losers with a loss of 2.12%, 2.12%, 1.51%, 1.46%, 1.33%,1.26% respectively. The NSE's Nifty settled at 13,567.85 levels, up 9.70 points, or 0.07 per cent with Indexes like Media, Metal, Auto with having a gain of 1.79%, 0.77%, 0.62% respectively while FMCG, Energy, Realty, Pharma ,Bank Indexes were having a loss of 1.29%, 0.40%, 0.31%, 0.22%, 0.18% respectively.

Bajaj Finance Ltd became India's twelfth company to cross ₹3 trillion in market capitalisation for the first time after its shares surged over 190% from its May low.

Tech Mahindra gained over 2% as the company announced expansion of its partnership with SAP SE to deliver Intelligent Enterprise for customers globally.

HDFC Bank rose nearly 2% after HDFC Bank’s former CEO Aditya Puri stated that banks need to change every three to four years to keep up with the industry and to be a dynamic organisation.
