INDIAN BENCHMARK INDICES WITNESSED ANOTHER RECORD HIGH ON TODAY’S SESSION

Domestic Equity Market showed a positive sign and reacted positively to the news of progress on COVID vaccine.Net Buying of FII/FPI was at Rs.2,264.38 crore while net selling of DII was at Rs.1,721.11.The S&P BSE Sensex ended 46,253.46 Points, up 154.45 points, or 0.34 per cent with shares of ONGC,L &T,NTPC,ICICI Bank, Sun Pharma, HCL Tech, Titan with having gains of 4.91%, 4.61%, 2.15%, 2.07%, 1.42%, 1.39%, 1.27% respectively while Shares of Mahindra & Mahindra, Bajaj Auto, Tech Mahindra, Bajaj Finserv, HDFC Bank ,Reliance were the losers with a loss of 1.98%, 1.17%, 1.14%, 1.06%, 0.90%, 0.72% respectively. The NSE's Nifty ended 44.30 points, or 0.33 per cent higher at 13,558.15 levels with 31 stocks were in advance and 19 stocks were in decline. Sectoral Indexes like Media, Metal, Energy, Pharma were the out Performers with having a gain of 2.00%, 1.38%, 0.86%, 0.76% respectively whereas Auto, Realty Indexes were the losers with a loss of 1.04%,0.89% respectively.

ONGC gained nearly 5% as positive COVID-19 vaccine developments are fuelling hopes of a quicker-than-previously-expected recovery in oil demand.

Shares of L & T surged over 4% after the company's construction arm secured orders for two of its businesses.

Mahindra & Mahindra lose nearly 2% as the company is facing a supply shortage of micro-processors used in Electronic Control Units (ECUs) of its vehicles.
