DAILY CURRENCY MARKET 8th DEC 2020

At the interbank forex market, the domestic currency appreciated against major currencies. The rupee surged by 39 paise to settle at 73.52 against the US currency on Tuesday buoyed by foreign fund inflows and heavy buying in domestic equities.

USD/INR touched intraday low of 73.52 and high of 73.85. INR appreciated against EUR, CNY and JPY. Euro opened at 89.46 and closed 15 paise lower at 89.20 against INR which was previously close at 89.36. GBP trading up by 0.13% against domestic currency.

Today, US dollar also appreciated against the major currencies at the Forex Market except INR,. USD traded 0.14% higher against EUR. USD rose by 0.11%, 0.43% against JPY, GBP.
