DAILY CURRENCY MARKET 3rd DEC 2020

After appreciating in the past few sessions rupee came under pressure against major currencies. On today, Rupee opened flat at 73.81 and closed 10 paise lower at 73.91 against us Dollar. USD/INR touched intraday low of 73.68 and high of 73.95. Indian rupee depreciated despite weakness in dollar and rise in risk appetite in the global markets as investors remained cautious ahead of the RBI monetary policy meeting outcome. INR opened at 89.43 and closed 50 paise lower at 89.46 against Euro which was previously close at 88.95. The Other currencies like GBP, JPY, CNY were trading positively against Rupee.

Today, US dollar also depreciated against the major currencies at the Forex Market. USD traded 0.38% lower against JPY. USD also traded down by 0.73%, against GBP. USD traded negatively against CHF, THB, ZAR, CNY, HKD, KRW etc.
