Market continue to trade with a positive bias.Rising for the fifth straight session, the rupee appreciated by 14 paise to close at 73.29 against the US dollar on Wednesday, supported by positive domestic equities and unabated foreign fund inflows. In the last five trading sessions, the Indian rupee has gained 53 paise. On the domestic equity market front, the BSE Sensex ended 133.14 points or 0.28 percent higher at 47,746.22, while the broader NSE Nifty jumped 49.35 points or 0.35 percent to 13,981.95. Rupee touched intraday low of 73.36 and high of 73.25 against US dollar. Rupee traded down against JPY and GBP. Rupee traded 0.06 % higher to Rs. 89.89 against EUR.
US dollar depreciated against virtually every currency in the market. USD traded down against INR, EUR,GBP, JPY, AUD, CAD, SGD etc.
