DAILY CURRENCY MARKET 23rd DEC 2020

Domestic currency appreciated against major currencies except JPY. The rupee snapped its two-day losing streak to settle higher by 8 paise at 73.76 against the US dollar on Wednesday, tracking strong domestic equities and sustained foreign fund inflows. Rupee touched intraday low of 73.91 and high of 73.73 against US dollar. Rupee traded positively against GBP, EUR. CNY traded flat against INR.

US dollar depreciated against major currencies except EUR. The Euro is trading 0.07% lower against USD.USD traded negatively against JPY, GBP, CAD, CNY, SGD and HKD respectively.
