DAILY CURRENCY MARKET 22nd DEC 2020

Domestic currency depreciated against major currencies excepts JPY. The rupee pared most of its initial losses and settled for the day 4 paise lower at 73.84 against the US dollar on Tuesday. Rupee touched intraday low of 73.95 and high of 73.82 against US dollar. Market sentiments were hurt amid concerns over new virus strain in UK.

US dollar traded mixed. The Euro is trading 0.06% higher against USD.USD traded negatively against JPY, GBP, CNY, and HKD respectively. At the same time USD traded up against AUD, CAD and SGD respectively.
