DAILY CURRENCY MARKET 14th DEC 2020

At the forex market, The rupee advanced by 9 paise to settle at 73.56 against the US dollar on Monday, buoyed by sustained foreign fund inflows and heavy buying in domestic equities. Rupee touched intraday low of 73.65 and high of 73.48 against US dollar. The Rupee is also trading 0.05% up against JPY at 0.70. Rupee traded lower against EUR and GBP.

The American currency depreciated against all other major currencies. The Euro US Dollar exchange rate is charging higher at the start of the week after ending the previous week approximately flat. USD dropped 0.39% against EUR. The Euro is jumping higher on news that UK -EU post Brexit talks will continue. USD was trading negatively against JPY,GBP, CNY, HKD and KRW.
