COMMODITY MARKET: CRUDE OIL FUTURES DOWN 1.12% AT RS 3438 PER BARREL

Commodity markets have shown negative sign in evening trading session with energy and base metals are trading weak while precious metals remains mixed. Agri commodity price are also trading on negatively except Mentha oil which stood as only gainer in evening session. On the other hand, Natural Gas, Crude oil Copper, Silver, CPO, Aluminium, Zinc, MCXMELTDEX, Nickel, MCXBULLDEX, Lead, Cotton, Gold are trading on negative note.

Commodities Buzz:

Bullion prices traded steady on Friday. Gold prices at MCX were trading marginally down after heavy volatile in the morning trade. Gold Feb future is trading down by 0.18% while silver March futures fall 0.75%. Bullion prices witnessed range bound trading on mixed global cues as investors and traders are awaiting for US stimulus announcement while vaccine rollouts has capped upside.

  • Crude oil futures slipped above 1% to Rs 3438 per barrel on worries over rising coronavirus cases and an increase in US crude inventories.

  • Natural Gas Dec future touched low of Rs. 186.40 per mmBtu and traded negatively.

  • Mentha oil Dec Future is trading up by 0.40% to Rs. 948.10 per kg.

  • All the Base metals commodities opened with weak note and also traded lower as delay finalising US stimulus weighed on prices.
