MARKET REMAINED VOLATILE DURING THE SESSION

Nifty Fifty closed at 10,847.90, recorded a gain of 0.03%. It touched an intraday high of 10,920.10 and low of 10,816.00 .About 34 shares rise and 16 shraes fall. Nifty Fifty closed with small gains as investors remained cautious in the absence of any fresh positive trigger for the market at home. Sectorial Indexes like Metal, Auto, Energy, Media, Pharma Indexes were in the gainer side with a gain of 2.61%, 2.06%,2.04%, 1.59%, 1.31% respectively while sectorial Indexes like Realty, Bank, FMCG, IT Indexes were in the loser side with a loss of 1.80%, 0.75%, 0.05%, 0.01% respectively.

Metal Index was the top gainer of today’s trading session which recorded a gain of 2.61%. Shares of Hindustan Copper, Coal India, National Aluminium, Welcorp, Moil, Vedanta Limited, NMDC, Hindalco, Tata Steel, Jindal steel, JSW Steel, Sail, Hindustan Zinc were the gainers with a gain of 7.31%, 7.30%, 3.70%, 2.83%, 2.57%, 1.90%, 1.63%, 1.62%, 1.56%, 0.99%, 0.79%, 0.62%, 0.44% respectively while shares of Jindal stainless steel,APL Apollo were the losers with a loss of 1.75%, 0.92% respectively.

Auto Index has an upward motion during the trading session which recorded a gain of 2.06%. Stocks like Tata Motors, Bharat Forg, Mother Son Sumi system, Exide Industries Limited, Maruti, Mahindra & Mahindra, Hero Moto Corp, Bosch Ltd, Bajaj auto, Eicher Motors, TVS Motors,Ashok Leyland were in the gainer side with a gain of 8.08%, 2.89%, 2.74%,2.54%, 2.52%, 2.43%, 1.67%, 1.01%, 0.85%, 0.66%, 0.64%, 0.32% respectively while Stocks like Apollo tyre,MRF,Amara raja Batteries Limited were in the loser side with a loss of 1.62%, 0.14%, 0.14% respectively.

Energy Index was in the positive territory which recorded a gain of 2.04%.Shares of ONGC, Reliance Infra, BPCL, IOC, NTPC, Gail, Hindustan Petroleum, Tata Power, Powergrid were the gainers with a gain of 5.29%, 4.60%, 4.52%, 3.41%, 3.14%, 2.91%, 2.84%, 2.13%, 1.27% respectively while Reliance was the only loser with a loss of 0.65%.

Media Index has gained 1.59% with shares of Dish TV, Eros Media, Jagran,TV18 Broadcast, Inox Leisure, Zee Media, Zee Limited, DEN¸TV Today, Sun TV, PVR, DB Corp gained by 6.97%, 4.69%,3.26%, 3.23%, 1.68%,1.48%, 1.41%, 1.35%, 1.19%, 1.06%, 0.39%, 0.08% respectively while shares of Hathway, Network18,Navneet Education Limited were the losers, lose by 2.84%, 2.00%, 0.05% respectively.

Pharma Index recorded a gain of 1.31% in today’s trading session. Shares of Lupin, Dr. Reddy, Cadila Healthcare, Auro Pharma, Glenmark, Sun Pharma, Cipla were having positive notes with a gain of 3.25%, 3.16%, 2.50%, 2.48%, 1.74%, 1.47%, 1.21% respectively while shares of Divi’s Lab, Biocon, PEL were having negative notes with a loss of 1.53%, 1.21%, 0.38% respectively.

IT Index has witnessed a slight loss of 0.01%. Shares of Mindtree, Infosys, Infibeam, Tata Elaxi were in the gainer side with a gain of 2.02%, 1.68%, 1.65%, 1.59% respectively while shares of TCS, Tech Mahindra, HCL Tech, OFSS, NIIT Tech, Wipro were in the loser side with a loss of 1.31%, 1.17%, 0.99%, 0.71%, 0.23%, 0.18% respectively.

FMCG Index closed at 28,710.00, recorded a loss of 0.05%. Shares Godrej Products, Britannia, ITC, Marico, Jubilant Food Works Limited were in the gainer side with a gain of 2.26%, 1.69%, 0.43%, 0.14%, 0.03% respectively while shares of USL, Tata Global, HUL, Emami Ltd, Godrej Industries Limited,GSK Cons, Dabur, UBL, Colgate Palmolive, PGHH were the losers with a loss of 1.14%, 1.12%,0.90%, 0.89%, 0.83%, 0.79%, 0.72%, 0.52%, 0.50%, 0.02% respectively.

Bank Index has lose 0.75% with shares of ICICI Bank, Kotak Bank, Federal Bank, IndusInd Bank, HDFC Bank, SBI, RBL Bank lose by 2.24%, 1.22%, 0.98%, 0.80%, 0.705, 0.58%, 0.11% respectively while shares of Yes Bank, PNB, Bank Of Baroda, IDFC First Bank, Axis Bank were the gainers ,gained by 3.95%, 2.00%, 0.75%, 0.23%, 0.20% respectively.

Realty Index was the top loser of today’s trading session which recorded a loss of 1.80%. Stocks like Mahindra Life space, Brigade, India bulls real-estate, Sun Teck were in the gainer side with a gain of 2.22%, 0.51%, 0.46%, 0.16% respectively while shares of Oberoi Realty, Phoenix Ltd, DLF, Prestige, Godrej Properties, Sobha were in the loser side with a loss of 3.62%, 2.86%, 2.62%, 2.09%, 1.44%, 1.16% respectively.
