MARKET REMAINED VOLATILE DURING THE SESSION

Nifty Fifty settled higher 46.75 points, or 0.43 per cent, at 10,844.65 with 30 stocks advancing and 20 declining. It touched intraday high of 10,858.75 and low of 10,746.35.Nifty closed with slight positive cues due to improved global cues and rupee's fresh rise. Sectorial Indexes like Metal, Bank, Energy, IT Indexes were in the gainer side with a gain of 1.61%, 1.12%, 0.58%, 0.30% respectively whereas Auto, Media, Realty, FMCG, Pharma Indexes were in the losers side with a loss of 1.68%, 0.60%, 0.17%, 0.14%, 0.11% respectively.

Metal Index was the top gainer of Today’s Trading session which recorded a gain of 1.61%. Shares of Sail, Jindal steel, Tata steel, Hindustan copper, JSW steel, Vedanta Limited, Hindalco, National Aluminium, Hindustan Zinc, Welcorp, Coal India, APL Apollo were the gainers with a gain of 6.57%, 3.29%, 2.88%, 2.60%, 2.45%,1.90%, 1.74%, 1.62%, 0.91%, 0.75%, 0.72%, 0.24% respectively while shares of NMDC, Moil, Jindal stainless limited were the losers with a loss of 1.24%, 0.74%, 0.42% respectively.

Bank Index has an upward momentum during the trading session which recorded a gain of 1.12%. Shares of RBL Bank, SBI, Bank of Baroda, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank ,PNB, Kotak Bank, Yes Bank, Federal Bank, Axis Bank were in the positive territory with a gain of 2.76%, 2.38%, 2.02%, 1.49%, 1.48%, 0.84%, 0.68%, 0.60%, 0.43%,0.06% respectively while shares of IndusInd Bank, IDFC Bank were the losers with a loss of 2.12%, 1.28% respectively.

Energy Index closed at 14,052.65, recorded a gain of 0.58%. Stocks like BPCL, IOC,NTPC, ONGC, Gail, Tata Power, Hindustan Petroleum were the gainers with a gain of 2.82%, 2.81%, 1.57%,1.41%, 0.55%, 0.37%, 0.14% respectively while stocks like Reliance Infra, Reliance, Powergrid were the losers with a loss of 2.06%, 0.33%, 0.10% respectively.

IT Index recorded a gain of 0.30%. Stocks like HCL Tech, OFSS, Wipro, Infosys were the gainers with a gain of 1.54%, 1.11%, 0.97%, 0.69% respectively while stocks like Tata Elaxi, NIIT Tech, Infibeam, Mind tree, TCS, Tech Mahindra were the losers with a loss of 2.78%, 0.67%, 0.51%, 0.34%,0.28%, 0.21% respectively.

Pharma Index closed at 7,931.60, recorded a loss of 0.11%. Shares of Dr. Reddy,Biocon, Divi’s Lab, Lupin, Cadila healthcare, Cipla were the gainers with a gain 2.66%, 2.66%, 1.39%, 0.88% ,0.68%,0.31% respectively while shares of Sun Pharma, Glenmark, PEL, Auro Pharma were the losers with a loss of 3.04%, 2.26%, 1.45%, 1.45% respectively .

FMCG Index has lose 0.14% with shares of Godrej Products, Britannia, Tata Global, USL, Godrej Industries Limited, PGHH, Marico, GSK Cons, Emami Ltd, Dabur, Colgate Palmolive lose by 3.03%, 3.02%, 1.55%, 1.50%, 0.95%,056%, 0.48%, 0.33%, 0.27%, 0.17%, 0.06% respectively whereas shares of Jubilant Food works Limited, UBL, HUL, ITC were the gainers, gained by 1.30%, 1.28%, 0.33%,0.12% respectively .

Realty Index has a downward motion during the trading session which recorded a loss of 0.17%. Shares of Mahindra Life space, Prestige, India bulls realestate, HDIL were in the positive zone with a gain of 3.09%, 2.67%, 0.92%, 0.37% respectively while shares of Phoenix Ltd, Godrej Properties, Oberoi Realty, Sun Teck, Sobha, Brigade were the losers with a loss of 2.82%, 1.51%, 1.21%, 1.03%,0.35%, 0.03% respectively.

Media Index closed at 1,853.85,recorded a loss of 0.60%. Shares of Eros Media, Network18,Jagran, Navneet Education Limited, DEN, Inox Leisure, DB Corp were the gainers with a gain of 4.92%, 2.97%, 2.66%, 1.32%, 0.57%, 0.48%, 0.04% respectively whereas shares of Hathway, Zee Limited, Dish TV, PVR, TV Today, Sun TV, TV18 Broadcast were the losers with a loss of 2.33%, 1.29%, 0.96%, 0.48%,0.47%, 0.40%, 0.25% respectively.

Auto Index was the top loser of today’s trading session which recorded a loss of 1.68%. Shares of Apollo tyres, TVS Motors, Hero Moto Corp, Amara Raja Batteries Limited were the gainers with a gain of 3.52%, 1.25%, 0.42%, 0.35% respectively while Stocks like Maruti, Ashok Leyland ,Bosch Ltd, Tata Motors, Mahindra & Mahindra, Exide Industries Limited, Eicher Motors, Bajaj Auto were in the loser side with a loss of 4.04%, 3.98%,3.04%, 2.57%, 1.83%, 1.48%, 0.99%,0.98% respectively.
