NIFTY WAS DOWN 58.80 POINTS OR 0.51% AT 11,512.40.

Nifty Fifty slips to 11,512.40, witnessed a loss of 0.51%. It touched an intraday high of 11,593.60 and low of 11,499.75.Among NSE’s Nifty Fifty, 11 shares were in advance while 39 shares were in decline. Market ended with negative notes due to weak global cues . All the sectorial Indexes were in the negative territory. FMCG, Energy, Bank, IT, Auto, Media, Pharma, Realty, Metal Indexes lose by 0.01%,0.41%, 0.42%,0.50%, 1.38%, 1.74%, 2.06%, 2.28%,2.64% respectively.

FMCG Index was in the negative territory which recorded a loss of 0.01%. Shares of PGHH, Colgate Palmolive, Godrej Products, ITC, Tata Global, Marico were the gainers of this Index with a gain of 5.92%, 2.69%, 1.50%, 1.36%,0.75%,0.67% respectively while shares of Britannia, Jubilant Food works Limited, Emami Limited, Nestle india, USL, HUL, Godrej Industries Limited, UBL, Dabur were the losers with a loss of 2.68%, 2.28%, 1.78%, 1.54%, 1.33%, 1.17%,1.00%,0.08%, 0.04% respectively.

Energy Index has a downward motion which opened at 15,426.15 and closed at 15,383.45. Shares of Reliance, IOC, NTPC, Hindustan Petroleum, Adani Transmission Limited were the gainers in this Index with a gain of 0.83%, 0.76%, 0.47%, 0.31%, 0.09% whereas shares of ONGC, BPCL, Tata Power, Gail, Powergrid were the losers with a loss of 4.27%, 2.75%, 2.20%, 1.68%, 0.78% respectively.

Bank Index started the trading session at 29,974.95 and ended the trading session at 29,876.65.Shares of Kotak Bank, Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, Federal Bank, PNB were the gainers in this Index with a gain of 0.97%,0.37%,0.25%,0.21%,0.08% respectively while shares of RBL Bank, YES Bank, IndusInd Bank, IDFC First Bank, ICICI Bank, SBI, Bank of Baroda were in the negative territory with a loss of 5.71%, 5.00%, 4.92%, 2.87%, 0.43%,0.30%, 0.26% respectively .

IT Index has a downward tendency which recorded a loss of 0.50% . Shares of Mindtree, Hexa ware, NIIT Tech were the gainers in this index with a gain of 1.61%,0.71%, 0.33% respectively while shares of TCS, Just dial, Tech Mahindra, Tata Elaxi, HCL tech, Wipro, Infosys were the losers with a loss of 1.37%, 1.35%, 1.32%, 0.44%, 0.30%, 0.23%,0.04% subsequently.

Auto Index has a downward tendency which recorded a loss of 1.38% . Shares of Tata Motors, Amara raja Batteries Limited, Mahindra & Mahindra, Ashok Leyland, Mother Son Sumi system, Apollo tyre, TVS Motors were the top losers with a loss of 3.53%, 3.01%, 2.46%, 1.90%, 1.84%, 1.74%, 1.62% subsequently.

Media Index has a decent loss of 1.74% which opened at 1,857.05 and closed at 1,838.40.Shares of Sun TV, Music Broadcast Limited, Jagran were the gainers in this Index with a gain of 2.14%, 1.88%,0.23% respectively while shares of Dish TV, Zee Limited, Zee Media, Hathway, Network18, Balaji Telefilms Limited, DB Corp, Saregama India Limited were the losers with a loss of 6.95%, 4.64%, 3.45%, 2.91%,2.68%, 1.82%,1.74% respectively.

Pharma Index has witnessed a loss of 2.06% with shares of PEL, Glenmark, Auro Pharma, Sun Pharma, Lupin, Dr. Reddy,Cadila healthcare, Divi’s Lab lose by 7.61%, 3.79%, 2.42%, 2.39%,1.56%,1.52%,1.30% ,0.61% subsequently whereas shares of Biocon, Cipla were the gainers in this Index with a gain of 1.06%, 0.70% respectively.

Realty Index started the trading session at 267.15 and ended the trading session at 261.70 reporting a loss of 2.28%. Shares of Mahindra Lifespace, Brigade were the gainers in this Index with a gain of 3.10%, 2.40% respectively while stocks like Indiabulls realestate, Godrej Properties, Phoenix ltd,Oberoi Realty, Sun Teck, Prestige, DLF, Sobha were in the loser side with a loss of 9.92%, 3.52%, 3.42%, 3.02%, 2.66%,1.72%, 1.70%, 1.25% respectively .

Metal Index was the top loser of today’s trading session which recorded a loss of 2.64%. Shares of Moil, APL Apollo, Hinustan Zinc, NMDC, National Aluminium were the gainers with a gain of 6.84%, 2.17%, 1.36%, 0.44%,0.32% subsequently while shares of Jindal steel, Vedanta Limited, Tata Steel, Sail, Hindalco, Hindustan copper were the losers with a loss of 5.74%, 5.69%, 4.70%, 3.50%, 2.55%,2.28% respectively.
