NIFY FIFTY CLOSED ON FLAT AFTER A TWO DAYS OF SHARP GAINS

Nifty Fifty has witnessed a loss of 0.10% to close at 11,588.20 which was earlier opened at 11,590.70.It touched an high of 11,655.05 and low of 11,539.20.About 22 shares rise while 28 shares fall. Market closed with negative notes amid uninspiring global cues, while investors assessed the impact of tax rate cut on different stocks and sectors after a two-day blockbuster rally. Sectorial Indexes IT, Energy, FMCG, Pharma, Media Indexes were in the gainer side with a gain of 1.98%, 0.68%, 0.62%, 0.44%,0.21% respectively while Metal, Realty, Bank, Auto Indexes were in the loser side with a loss of 1.63%,1.32%, 1.25%,0.38% respectively.

IT Index was the top gainer of today’s trading session which registered a gain of 1.98%. Shares of Tata Elaxi, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, HCL Tech, TCS,NIIT Tech, Wipro were the gainers with a gain 4.98%, 3.88%, 3.11%, 1.57%, 1.56%, 1.33%,0.54% respectively while shares of OFSS, Mind tree, Infibeam were the losers with a loss of 1.67%, 1.09%,0.25% respectively.

Energy Index closed at 15,100.85, recording a gain of 0.68%. Stocks like Reliance, Powergrid, BPCL, Reliance Infra were the gainers with a gain of 3.09%, 1.94%, 1.66%, 1.11% respectively while stocks like IOC, ONGC, Hindustan Petroleum, Gail, Tata Power, NTPC were the losers with a loss of 3.08%, 2.38%, 2.36%, 1.95%,1.19%, 0.60% respectively.

FMCG Index has gained 0.62% with shares of Marico, Dabur, PGHH, Britannia, GSK Cons, Jubilant food works Limited, HUL, Godrej Products, ITC, Godrej Industries Limited, Tata Global gained by 2.69%, 2.54%, 2.12%, 1.23%, 1.00%, 0.96%, 0.70%, 0.70%,0.53%, 0.53%,0.53%,0.49% respectively while shares of Emami Ltd, UBL, Colgate Palmolive, USL were the losers ,lose by 1.05%, 0.56%, 0.19%, 0.09% respectively.

Pharma Index has recorded a gain of 0.44% which was closed at 7,891.95 . Shares of Cadila healthcare, Divi’s Lab, Lupin, Dr. Reddy, Auro Pharma, Cipla, Sun Pharma, PEL were in the positive territory with a gain of 1.94%, 0.83%, 0.82%, 0.56%, 0.28%, 0.22%, 0.07%, 0.02% respectively whereas shares of Glenmark, Biocon were in the negative territory with a loss of 0.87%, 0.40% respectively.

Media Index ended the trading session at 1,862.80, recorded a gain of 0.21%. Stocks like Dish TV, Zee Limited, DB Corp,TV18 Broadcast, PVR, Navneet education Limited were having positive notes with a gain of 4.40%, 3.66%, 3.10%, 1.39%, 0.93%, 0.82% respectively while stocks like Sun TV, Eros Media, DEN, Zee Media, Inox Leisure, Hathway, TV Today were having negative notes with a loss of 5.38%, 4.85%, 4.75%, 3.72%, 3.70%, 2.20%, 1.66% respectively.

Auto Index closed at 7,773.25 ,recorded a loss of 0.38%. Shares of Godrej Tata Motors, Maruti, Bharat forg, Ashok Leyland, Amara Raja Batteries Limited, Mother Son sumi system were the gainers with a gain of 2.74%, 1.96%, 1.91%,1.27%, 1.11%, 0.17% respectively while shares of Eicher Motors, TVS Motors, Hero Moto Corp, Apollo tyre, Bosch Ltd,Bajaj Auto were the losers with a loss of 3.84%, 2.65%, 2.16%, 1.64%, 1.37%, 0.94% respectively.

Bank Index has a downward motion during the trading session which registered a loss of 1.25%. Shares of RBL Bank, YES Bank, IndusInd Bank were the gainers the with a gain of 1.63%, 0.99%, 0.53% respectively while shares of SBI, Axis Bank, Bank of Baroda, Federal, IDFC First Bank, Kotak Bank were the losers with a loss of 4.06%, 3.08%, 1.89%, 1.82%, 1.50%, 1.38% respectively.

Realty Index has lose 1.32% with shares of Sobha, Brigade, Prestige, Oberoi Realty, Phoenix Ltd, Sun Teck, Godrej Properties, DLF lose by 3.93%, 3.00%, 2.89%, 1.96%, 1.36%, 1.04%, 0.83%, 0.42% respectively while shares of India bulls real-estate, Mahindra Life space were the gainers with a gain of 1.43%, 0.94% respectively.

Metal Index was the top loser of today’s trading session which recorded a loss of 1.63%. Shares of Moil, Vedanta Limited, Welcorp were the gainers with a gain of 2.44%, 1.11%,0.40% respectively. Shares of JSW steel, National Aluminium, Jindal steel, Hindustan Zinc, Hindustan Copper, NMDC, Coal India were having a loss of 4.19%, 3.83%, 3.75%, 2.52%, 2.21%, 2.19%,2.12% respectively.
