NIFTY RALLIED SHARPLY FOR THE SECOND CONSECUTIVE SESSION

Nifty Fifty has witnessed a gain of 2.89% to close at 11,600.20 which was earlier opened at 11,524.70.It touched high of 11,694.85 and low of 11,471.35.About 32 shares rise while 18 shares fall. Market closed with positive notes after the government slashed the corporate tax in a bid to revive the economy. Sectorial Indexes like Bank, FMCG, Realty ,Auto, Metal, Energy, Media Indexes were the gainers with a gain of 5.47%, 4.31%, 2.83%, 2.59%, 1.14%, 0.95%, 0.71% respectively while IT, Pharma Index were the losers with a loss of 2.91%, 1.58% respectively.

Realty Index has gained 2.83% with shares of Sobha, Sun Teck, Godrej Properties, Mahindra Life space, Oberoi Realty, Brigade, Phoenix Ltd gained by 6.73%, 5.24%, 4.86%, 4.30%,3.64%, 1.98%, 1.87% respectively whereas shares of India bulls real-estate, DLF, Prestige were the losers ,lose by 2.10%, 0.48%, 0.46% respectively.

Auto Index started the trading session at 7,714.00 and ended the trading session at 7,802.65,recorded a gain of 2.59%. Shares of Exide Industries Limited, Ashok Leyland, Eicher Motors, Bharat Forg, Amara raja Batteries Limited, Bosch Ltd, Maruti, Mother son Sumi systems, MRF, Bajaj Auto, Apollo tyre, TVS Motors, Mahindra & Mahindra were the gainers with a gain of 11.12%, 10.62%,8.90%, 8.57%, 7.59%, 5.58%,4.45%,3.08%, 2.49%, 2.34%, 2.08%, 0.54%, 0.05% respectively whereas shares of Tata Motors, Hero Moto Corp were the losers with a loss of 4.17%, 1.04% respectively.

Metal Index has gained 1.14% with shares of APL Apollo, NMDC, Hindustan Copper, Jindal stainless limited, Welcorp, Moil, National Aluminium, Tata Steel, Coal India, Sail, JSW steel, Jindal steel gained by 8.45%, 4.75%, 4.35%, 3.24%, 3.09%,3.00%, 2.99%, 2.29%, 1.10%, 0.87%, 0.86%, 0.32% respectively while shares of Hindalco, Hindustan Zinc, Vedanta Limited were the losers with a loss of 1.56%, 1.33%, 0.44% respectively.

Energy Index was in the positive territory which recorded a gain of 0.95%. Shares of BPCL, IOC, Gail, Hindustan Petroleum, ONGC, Tata Power were the gainers with a gain of 13.66%, 8.45%, 4.01%,3.70%, 2.10%, 0.82% respectively while shares of Powergrid, NTPC, Reliance, Reliance Infra were the losers with a loss of 4.36%, 3.17%, 1.44%, 1.23% respectively.

Media Index opened at 1,878.25 and closed at 1,858.95 ,recorded a gain of 0.71%. Shares of Sun TV, TV18 Broadcast, Inox Leisure, Network18, TV Today, PVR, Eros Media, Navneet Education Limited, Hathway, Dish TV, DB Corp were having positive notes with having a gain of 9.78%, 9.48%, 7.16%, 5.54%, 5.19%, 4.84%,4.81%, 4.46%, 2.26%, 0.74%, 0.25% respectively while shares of Zee Limited, DEN, Jagran, Zee Media were having negative notes with a loss of 8.08%, 4.97%, 3.70%, 0.93% respectively.

Pharma Index has recorded a loss of 1.58% which was closed at 7,857.25. Shares of Dr. Reddy, Cipla, Lupin, Sun Pharma, Divi’s Lab, Cadila healthcare were the top losers ,lose by 3.95%, 3.42%, 3.31%, 1.62%, 1.46%,1.33% respectively.

IT Index has lose 2.91% with shares of OFSS, Infosys, Wipro, TCS, HCL tech, Tech Mahindra, Mindtree lose by 5.16%, 4.97%, 2.76%, 2.20%, 2.18%, 1.86%, 0.33% respectively while Shares of NIIT Tech, Tata Elaxi were the gainers ,gained 1.30%,0.90% respectively .
