NIFTY FIFTY JUMPED 5.32% TO 11,274.20

Nifty fifty has registered a gain of 5.32% which was opened at 10,746.80 and closed at 11,274.20.It touched high of 11,381.90 and low of 10,691.00.About 44 shares rise while 6 shares fall. Nifty closed with positive notes the frontline indices rallied over 5 per cent after Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced reduction in corporation tax. The FM announced that the effective corporate tax rate will be lowered to 25.75 . Sectorial Indexes like Auto, Bank, Metal, FMCG, Energy, Realty, Media, Pharma Indexes were the gainers with a gain of 9.90%,8.31%,5.68%,4.41%, 4.04%, 3.88%,3.37%, 2.36% respectively while IT Index was the loser with a loss of 0.20%.

Auto Index was the top gainer of today’s trading session which recorded a gain of 9.90%. Stocks like Ashok Leyland, TVS Motors, Eicher Motors, Hero Moto Corp, MRF, Maruti, Mahindra & Mahindra, Mother son Sumi system were the top gainers with a gain of 19.35%, 14.01%, 13.38%, 12.34%, 11.76%, 10.54%, 9.19%, 8.45% respectively .

Bank Index has an upward momentum during the trading session which recorded a gain of 8.31% . Shares of RBL Bank, Federal Bank, IndusInd Bank, SBI, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, IDFC First Bank, Axis Bank, Kotak Bank, PNB, Bank of Baroda ,YES Bank were in the gainer side with a gain of 14.60%, 13.84%, 10.94%, 10.11%, 9.17%, 7.54%, 6.285, 6.08%, 6.06%, 5.97%, 5.81%, 3.70% respectively .

Metal Index started the trading session at 2,374.75 and ended the trading session at 2,497.65,recorded a gain of 5.68%. Shares of Sail, Vedanta Limited, Jindal steel, Tata steel, JSW steel, APL Apollo, National Aluminium, Welcorp, NMDC were the top gainers with a gain of 8.79%, 8.18%, 7.97%, 7.51%, 6.81%, 4.92%, 4.59%, 4.49%,3.64% respectively while Jindal stainless limited was the only loser with a loss of 5.24%.

FMCG Index has gained 4.41% with shares of Jubilant food works Limited, Britannia, PGHH, HUL, GSK Cons, Godrej Industries Limited, Colgate Palmolive gained by 10.45%, 9.72%, 9.63%,8.86%, 8.28%, 6.07%, 5.57% respectively whereas shares of Dabur, Marico were the losers ,lose by 2.70%, 0.21% respectively.

Energy Index opened at 14,290.00 and closed at 14,859.05 ,recorded a gain of 4.04%. Shares of Hindustan Petroleum, ONGC, BPCL, Reliance, IOC, Tata Power, Gail, Reliance Infra were having positive notes with having a gain of 10.24%, 7.04%, 6.49%, 6.39%,5.35%, 3.94%, 1.13%,0.83% respectively. Shares of Powergrid, NTPC were the losers in this Index with a loss of 2.68%,1.52% respectively.

Realty Index was in the positive territory which has recorded a gain of 3.88%. Shares of DLF, Godrej Properties, Prestige, India bulls realestate, Oberoi Realty, Brigade, Phoenix Ltd, Sobha were the gainers with a gain of 7.92%, 6.55%,5.96%, 2.855,2.11%, 1.91%, 0.61%, 0.31% respectively while shares of Mahindra Life space, Sun Teck were the losers with a loss of 2.18%, 2.10% respectively.

Media Index has gained 3.37% with shares of PVR, Sun TV, TV18 Broadcast, Inox Leisure, Eros Media, Jagran, Navneet Education Limited, Dish TV, TV Today, DB Corp gained by 9.00%, 8.45%, 7.91%, 5.33%, 4.91%,5.33%, 4.76%, 4.63%, 3.50%, 3.30%, 2.52%, 1.36% respectively while shares of ZEE Media, Network18,Den, Hathway, ZEE Limited were the losers with a loss of 8.19%, 5.43%, 4.94%, 4.31%, 2.87% respectively.

Pharma Index has recorded a gain of 2.36% which was opened at 7,839.55 and closed at 7,983.55 . Shares of PEL, Dr. Reddy, Divi’s Lab, Cadila healthcare, Cipla, Lupin, Auro Pharma, Sun Pharma, Biocon were the gainers with a gain of 4.70%, 3.93%, 3.20%, 2.71%,2.42%, 2.12%, 1.80%, 0.74%, 0.20% respectively while Glenmark was the only loser with a loss of 1.81%.

IT Index stood as the only loser of today’s trading session which recorded a loss of 0.20%. Shares of OFSS, Mindtree, NIIT Tech, Tata Elaxi, Wipro, Infibeam, HCL Tech were the gainers with a gain of 8.74%, 3.50%, 2.77%, 2.51%, 1.93%, 1.65%, 0.04% respectively while shares of Infosys, TCS, Tech Mahindra were the losers with a loss of 1.63%, 1.57%, 0.48% respectively.
