NIFTY FIFTY WAS DOWN 135.85 POINTS AT 10,704.80.

Nifty Fifty witnessed a loss of 1.25% which was opened at 10,845.20 and closed at 10,704.80.It touched intraday high of 10,845.20 and low of 10,670.25.Among NSE’s Nifty fifty, 7 shares were in advance while 43 shares were in decline. Market ended with negative notes after the US Federal Reserve cut interest rates as expected but signalled a higher bar to further policy easing. All the sectorial indexes were in loser side. FMCG, IT, Auto, Energy, Bank, Realty, Pharma, Metal, Media Indexes lose by 0.61%, 1.15%, 1.30%, 1.43%, 1.53%, 1.54%, 1.56%, 1.63%,4.41% respectively.

FMCG Index started the trading session at 28,794.80 and ended the trading session at 28,575.60, reporting a loss of 0.61%. Shares of Godrej Products, Colgate Palmolive, Britannia, Godrej Industries Limited were the gainers in this Index with a gain of 0.89%, 0.81%, 0.20%, 0.11% respectively while stocks like Tata Global, UBL, ITC, HUL, Emami Ltd, USL, GSK Cons, Dabur, Jubilant Food works Limited,PGHH, Marico were in the loser side with a loss of 2.10%, 1.57%, 1.19%, 1.04%, 0.89%, 0.80%,0.79%,0.33%,0.23%, 0.20%, 0.09% respectively .

IT Index has witnessed a loss of 1.15% with shares of Tech Mahindra, TCS, Tata Elaxi, Wipro, Mind tree, Infosys, HCL Tech, Infibeam lose by 2.17%, 1.95%, 1.61%,1.61%, 1.31%, 1.31%, 1.28%, 1.15%, 1.15%,0.25% subsequently whereas shares of OFSS,NIIT Tech were the gainers in this Index with a gain of 0.68%, 0.21% respectively.

Auto Index has a decent loss of 1.30% which opened at 7,033.70 and closed at 6,920.60.Shares of Tata Motors, Mother son Sumi system, TVS Motors were the gainers in this Index with a gain of 2.01%,0.77%, 0.32% respectively while shares of Exide Industries Limited, Apollo tyre, Ashok Leyland, Maruti, Eicher Motors, Hero Moto Corp, Bharat Forg were the losers with a loss of 2.84%, 2.09%, 2.01%, 1.76%, 1.75%,1.60%,1.54% respectively.

Energy Index has a downward tendency which recorded a loss of 1.43%. Shares of Reliance Infra, Reliance, ONGC, Hindustan Petroleum, IOC, Gail, NTPC,BPCL, Powergrid were the losers in this index with a loss of 3.87%, 2.21%, 1.97%, 1.71%, 1.56%,1.30%, 0.98%, 0.81%, 0.69% while Tata Power was the only gainer with a gain of 1.48%.

Bank Index has a downward tendency which recorded a loss of 1.53%. HDFC Bank was the only gainer in this company with a gain of 0.56% while shares of YES Bank, RBL Bank, IndusInd Bank, ICICI Bank, SBI, IDFC First Bank, Axis Banks, PNB, Bank of Baroda, Federal Bank, Kotak Bank were the losers with a loss of 15.76%, 5.19%, 3.75%, 3.27%, 2.10%, 1.93%, 1.70%, 1.35%, 0.99%, 0.95%,0.74% subsequently.

Realty Index started the trading session at 259.45 and ended the trading session at 255.40. Shares of India bulls real-estate, Sun Teck, Sobha, Phoenix Ltd, Godrej Properties, Prestige, DLF, Brigade were in the negative territory with a loss of 5.12%, 3.11%, 3.02%, 2.71%, 2.51%, 2.15%, 1.34%, 0.29% respectively while Mahindra Life space and Oberoi realty were the gainers with a gain of 0.33%, 0.29% respectively.

Pharma Index has a downward motion which opened at 7,922.40 and closed at 7,799.60. Shares of PEL, Divi’s Lab, Auro Pharma, Lupin, Cipla, Sunpharma, Cadila healthcare, Dr. Reddy, Glenmark, Biocon were the losers with a loss of 3.57%, 2.40%, 2.33%, 2.25%,1.78%, 1.46%, 0.95%, 0.78%,0.51%, 0.15% respectively.

Metal Index was in the negative territory which recorded a loss of 1.63%. Shares of Coal India, National Aluminium were the gainers with a gain of 0.70%, 0.45%, 0.41% respectively while shares of Jindal stainless limited, Welcorp, Hindustan Copper, Sail,Jindal steel, Tata Steel were the top losers with a loss of 4.83%, 4.58%, 4.48%, 4.34%, 4.24%, 3.55% respectively.

Media Index was the top loser of today’s trading session which recorded a loss of 4.41%. Shares of Eros Media, Zee Media were the gainers of this Index with a gain of 5.00%, 3.10% respectively while shares of Dish TV, Zee Limited, DEN, Sun TV, Network18,TV18 Broadcast, PVR were the top losers with a loss 8.60%, 7.83%, 4.97%, 3.49%, 3.25%, 2.71%, 1.67% respectively.
