NIFTY FIFTY SURGED IN THE LAST HOUR OF FRIDAY'S SESSION

Nifty fifty has registered a gain of 0.85% to close at 11,075.90 which was earlier opened at 10,986.80.It touched high of 11,084.45 and low of 10,945.75.About 41 shares rise and 9 shares fall. Subdued inflation kept hopes alive for rate cut and positive vibes to support the auto sector lifted the markets. Among Sectoral Indices, Energy, Realty, Metal, Auto, Bank, IT, Media, FMCG were the gainers with a gain of 2.24%, 1.46%, 1.39%, 1.05%, 1.01%, 0.90%, 0.75%, 0.06% respectively while Pharma Index was the loser with a loss of 0.85%.

Energy Index was the top gainer of today’s trading session which recorded a gain of 2.24%. Stocks like BPCL,IOC, Hindustan Petroleum, Gail, ONGC, Powergrid, NTPC, Reliance, Tata Power, Reliance Infra were the gainers with a gain of 6.38%, 4.82%, 3.46%, 2.86%, 2.42%, 1.43%, 1.35%, 0.47%,0.37% respectively .

Realty Index has an upward momentum during the trading session which recorded a gain of 1.46%. Shares of DLF, Phoenix Ltd, Godrej Properties, Prestige, Mahindra Lifespace,Brigade were in the gainer side with a gain of 3.60%, 1.86%, 1.72%, 1.45%, 0.79%, 0.76% respectively while shares of India bulls realestate,Oberoi Realty, Sun Teck, Sobha were the losers with a loss of 2.53%, 1.20%, 1.06%, 0.02% respectively.

Metal Index was trading in the positive territory with a gain of 1.39% led by the stocks like Hindustan copper, Vedanta Limited, NMDC, Hindalco, National Aluminium, JSW steel, Hindustan Zinc, Jindal stainless limited, Jindal steel up by 12.75%, 2.78%, 2.25%, 2.13%, 2.05%, 2.00%, 1.54%, 1.48%, 0.89% respectively while Welcorp was the only loser in this Index with a loss of 2.97%.

Auto Index started the trading session at 7,307.75 and ended the trading session at 7,360.60,recorded a gain of 1.05%. Shares of Mother on Sumi system, Bosch Ltd, Bharat Forg, Apollo tyre, Mahindra & Mahindra, Tata Motors, Ashok Leyland, Hero Moto corp,Maruti Suzuki, Bajaj Auto, Eicher Motors were the gainers with a gain of 4.61%, 2.62%, 1.89%,1.72%, 1.37%, 1.29%, 1.12%, 1.10%, 0.84%, 0.83%, 0.06% respectively while shares of Amara raja Batteries Limited, Exide Industries Limited,MRF,TVS Motors were the losers with a loss of 1.47%, 1.25%, 1.10%,0.24% respectively.

Bank Index has gained 1.01% with shares of ICICI Bank ,Federal Bank, Kotak Bank, SBI, Axis Bank,RBL Bank, IndusInd Bank, PNB gained by 2.73%, 1.75%, 1.74%, 1.69%, 1.64%, 1.13%, 0.59%,0.54% respectively whereas shares of IDFC First Bank, Bank of Baroda, HDFC Bank, Yes Bank were the loser ,lose by 2.09%, 1.09%, 0.49%, 0.22% respectively.

IT Index closed at 15,722.90 ,recorded a gain of 0.90%. Shares of Infosys, Infibeam, HCL Tech, Mindtree, OFSS, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Tata Elaxi were having positive notes with having a gain of 1.64%, 1.62%, 1.39%, 0.99%, 0.79%, 0.44%, 0.43%, 0.27%,0.23% respectively while NIIT Tech was the only loser with a loss of 0.15%.

Media Index has a positive note which recorded a gain of 0.75%. Shares of Eros Media, Network 18,DEN, Jagran, Zee Limited, TV18 Broadcast, DB Corp, Dish TV, Inox Leisure, Navneet Education Limited, Sun TV, PVR were the gainers with a gain of 4.00%, 2.86%, 2.81%, 2.79%, 1.53%, 1.40%, 0.69%, 0.65%, 0.63%, 0.55%, 0.39%, 0.22% respectively while shares of Hathway, Zee Media, TV Today were the losers with a loss of 3.28%, 2.16%, 1.54% respectively.

FMCG Index has gained 0.06% with shares of Jubilant Food works Limited, PGHH, Godrej Products, Coalgate Palmolive, UBL, Dabur, GSk Cons, USL gained by 1.65%, 1.44%, 0.89%, 0.80%, 0.52%, 0.33%, 0.19%, 0.16% respectively while shares of Tata Global, Marico, Emami Ltd,ITC, Britannia, Godrej Industries Limited,HUL were the losers with a loss of 1.33%, 0.97%, 0.43%, 0.27%, 0.26%, 0.20%, 0.08% respectively.

Pharma Index stood as the only loser of today’s trading session which recorded a loss of 0.85%. Shares of Cadila healthcare, Lupin, Cipla, Auro Pharma were the gainers with a gain of 0.77%, 0.72%,0.35%, 0.06% respectively while shares of Glenmark, PEL, Sun Pharma, Dr. Reddy, Divi’s Lab, Biocon were the top losers with a loss of 3.43%, 3.10%, 1.40%, 1.39%, 1.10%, 0.15% respectively.
