NIFTY FELL 52.90 POINTS OR 0.48% TO 10,982.80

Nifty Fifty has witnessed a loss of 0.48% to close at 10,982.80 which was earlier opened at 11,058.30. It touched high of 11,081.75 and low of 10,964.95.About 15 shares rise and 35 shares fall. Market ended with negative notes to the macroeconomic data in early trade. Sectorial Indexes like Pharma, Bank Indexes were in the gainer side with a gain of 0.18%,0.05% respectively whereas Auto, Energy, FMCG, Realty, IT, Media, Metal Indexes were in the loser side with a loss of 1.81%, 1.24%,0.71%,0.69%, 0.68%, 0.47%, 0.25% respectively.

Pharma Index gained the most in today’s trading session which recorded a gain of 0.18%. Shares of Divi’s Lab, Sun Pharma, Dr. Reddy, Lupin were the gainers with a gain of 1.76%, 1.30%, 0.17%, 0.06% respectively while shares of Biocon, PEL, Cipla, Glenmark, Auro Pharma, Cadila healthcare were the losers with a loss of 1.62%, 0.97%, 0.93%, 0.82%, 0.13%, 0.08% respectively.

Bank Index has a gain of 0.05% which closed at 27,818.50.Shares of ICICI Bank, Bank of Baroda, IndusInd Bank, HDFC Bank, SBI, Federal Bank were the gainers in this index with a gain of 2.03%, 1.87%, 1.23%, 0.74%, 0.25% respectively whereas shares of YES Bank, RBL Bank, Axis Bank, IDFC Bank, Kotak Bank, PNB, Federal Bank were the losers, lose by 4.68%, 2.82%, 2.79%, 2.05%, 1.25%, 0.54%, 0.23% respectively.

Metal Index ended the trading session at 2,410.60, recorded a loss of 0.16%. Shares of Jindal stainless limited, Hindalco, Hindustan Copper, Coal India were in the positive territory with a gain of 4.49%, 1.65%, 0.57%, 0.48% respectively while shares of JSW steel, APL Apollo, Sail, Welcorp, Vedanta Limited, National Aluminium, Hindustan Zinc, NMDC, Moil, Tata Steel, Jindal steel were in the negative territory with a loss of 2.64%, 1.18%, 1.03%, 1.00%, 0.72%, 0.68%, 0.58%, 0.53%, 0.53%,0.40%,0.33% respectively.

Media Index was in the negative territory during the trading session which registered a loss of 0.46%. Shares of Zee Media, Inox Leisure, Hathway, Eros Media, Network18,Jagran, TV18 Broadcast, DB Corp were having positive notes with a gain of 7.04%, 5.77%, 4.86%, 4.79%, 4.43%, 1.85%, 0.94%, 0.44% respectively while shares of TV Today, Zee Limited, Dish TV, DEN, Sun TV, PVR, Navneet Education Limited were the losers with a loss of 2.96%, 2.34%, 1.07%, 0.75%, 0.36%, 0.33%, 0.20% respectively.

IT Index closed at 31,375.40 ,recorded a loss of 0.76%. Stocks like Tech Mahindra, Infibeam, Tata Elaxi were in the gainer side with a gain of 0.26%, 0.25%, 0.17% respectively while stocks like OFSS, Wipro, Mind tree, TCS, NIIT Tech, Infosys, HCL Tech were in the loser side with a loss of 2.51%, 1.57%, 1.27%, 0.90%, 0.66%, 0.30%, 0.26% respectively.

Realty Index has lose 0.69% with shares of Oberoi Realty, Godrej Properties, DLF, Sobha, Sun Teck lose by 12.80%, 0.93%,0.72%, 0.43%, 0.40% respectively while shares of India bulls real-estate, Mahindra Life space, Phoenix Ltd, Prestige were the gainers with a gain of 1.24%, 0.82%, 0.39%,0.38% respectively.

FMCG Index has a downward tendency during the trading session which recorded a loss of 0.64%. Shares of Emami Ltd, Godrej Industries Limited, Tata Global, Godrej Products, Britannia, Dabur, Colgate Palmolive were the gainers in this Index with a gain of 3.43%, 2.79%, 1.48%, 0.80%, 0.34%, 0.29%, 0.10% respectively while shares of UBL, Jubilant Foodworks Limited, GSK Cons, ITC, HUL,PGHH, Marico, USL were the top losers with a loss of 2.91%, 2.15%, 1.47%, 1.21%, 1.14%, 0.70%, 0.63%, 0.61% respectively.

Energy Index has lose 1.24% with shares of Gail, Reliance, NTPC, Hindustan Petroleum, IOC,Powergrid,BPCL lose by 2.34%, 1.86%, 1.77%, 1.50%, 1.31%,1.04%, 0.54% respectively while shares of Tata Power, ONGC were the gainers in this Index with a gain of 4.66%, 0.08% respectively.

Auto Index was the top loser of today’s trading session which recorded a loss of 1.88%. Shares of MRF,Exide Industries Limited were the gainers with a gain of 1.08%, 0.49% respectively while shares of Tata Motors, TVS Motors, Bosch Ltd, Maruti, Eicher Motors, Ashok Leyland were in the losers side with a loss of 3.80%, 3.45%, 3.29%, 3.01%, 2.31%,1.96% respectively.
