NIFTY EXTENTED ITS GAIN FOR THE THIRD SUCCESSIVE SESSION

Nifty Fifty ended at 11,035.70, witnessed a gain of 0.30% which was earlier opened at 11,665.20.It touched an intraday high of 11,054.80 and low of 11,011.65.About 25 shares rise while 25 shares fall. Nifty fifty ended with positive note because of easing Sino-US tensions along with the hopes of further stimulus by the government and GST rate cut on auto . Sectorial Indexes like Realty, Auto, Metal, Bank, Pharma Indexes were in the gainer side with a gain of 4.14%, 3.60%, 2.31%, 0.99%, 0.06% respectively while IT, FMCG, Energy, Media Indexes were in the loser side with a loss of 1.37%, 0.30%, 0.22%,0.03% respectively.

Realty Index gained the most in today’s trading session which recorded a gain of 4.14%. Stocks like Oberoi Realty, Godrej Properties, Sun Teck, DLF, Prestige, Sobha, Mahindra Life space were the gainers with a gain of 10.19%, 5.70%, 4.25%, 3.70%, 1.58%, 0.83%, 0.76% respectively while shares of India bulls real-estate, Brigade, Phoenix Ltd were the losers in this Index with a loss of 0.31%, 0.30%, 0.03% respectively.

Auto Index has an upward momentum during the trading session which recorded a gain of 3.60% . Shares of Tata Motors, Eicher Motors, Mother son Sumi System, Maruti, TVS Motors, Bajaj Auto, Bharat Forg, Amara Raja Batteries Limited, Mahindra & Mahindra were in the gainer side with a gain of 10.66%, 5.10%, 4.08%, 3.86%, 3.60%, 2.88%, 2.67%, 2.57%, 2.43% respectively .

Metal Index ended the trading session at 2,414.55, recorded a gain of 2.31%. Shares of Jindal stainless limited, Jindal steel, Welcorp, National Aluminium, JSW steel, Tata Steel, Vedanta Limited, Sail, Hindalco, NMDC, Hindustan Copper, APL Apollo were the gainers with a gain of 15.50%, 12.46%, 5.81%, 4.37%, 3.78%, 3.67%, 3.36%, 3.04%, 2.30%,1.87%, 1.60%, 0.91% respectively whereas shares of Coal India, Hindustan Zinc, Moil were the losers in this Index with a loss of 1.78%, 0.32%, 0.20% respectively.

Bank Index recorded a gain of 0.99% which closed at 27,776.20.Shares of Yes Bank, RBL Bank, Bank of Baroda, PNB, IndusInd Bank, SBI, IDFC First Bank, Axis Bank, Kotak Bank were having positive notes with a gain of 13.00%, 5.19%, 3.51%, 3.19%, 2.61%, 2.59%, 1.27%, 0.86%, 0.32% respectively. Shares of Federal Bank, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank were having negative notes with a loss of 0.87%, 0.32%, 0.16% respectively.

Pharma Index has gained 0.06% with shares of PEL, Cadila healthcare, Dr. Reddy, Biocon, Auro Pharma gained by 4.38%, 1.14%, 0.61%, 0.24%, 0.19% respectively whereas shares of Sun Pharma, Lupin, Cipla, Divi’s Lab, Glenmark were the losers in this Index with a loss of 1.45%, 1.13%, 0.91%, 0.38%,0.29% respectively.

Media Index has a downward momentum during the trading session which recorded a loss of 0.03%. Shares of Eros Media, Zee Media, Navneet Education Limited, TV Today, Network18,Jagran, DB Corp, TV18 Broadcast, Inox Leisure, PVR, Sun TV were in the gainer side with a gain of 4.70%, 3.88%, 2.98%, 2.66%, 2.38%, 1.44%, 1.34%, 1.19%,1.06%, 0.92%, 0.69% respectively while shares of DEN ,Hathway, Zee Limited, Dish TV were in the loser side with a loss of 5.35%, 4.82%, 2.55%, 0.21% respectively.

Energy Index has witnessed a loss of 0.22% with shares of ONGC,Gail, NTPC,Powergrid,IOC lose by 3.13%,2.80%, 1.90%, 1.43%, 0.67% respectively whereas shares of Reliance Infra, Tata Power, Hindustan Petroleum,BPCL, Reliance were the gainers in this Index with a gain of 4.13%, 1.57%, 1.32%, 0.92%, 0.81% respectively.

FMCG Index closed at 28,759.35 , recorded a loss of 0.30%. Shares of Jubilant foodworks Limited, UBL, Dabur, PGHH, Godrej Products were in the gainer side with a gain of 4.44%, 1.64%, 0.98%,0.44%, 0.39% respectively while shares of Tata Global, Colgate Palmolive, Emami Ltd, ITC, Britannia, HUL, USL, GSK Cons were the losers with a loss of 2.22%, 1.75%, 1.56%,0.90%, 0.73%, 0.58%, 0.51%, 0.45% respectively.

IT Index was the top loser of today’s trading session which recorded a loss of 1.37%. Shares of Infibeam, Tata Elaxi were the gainers with a gain of 2.42%, 1.15% respectively while shares of Wipro, HCL Tech, NIIT Tech, TCS, Tech Mahindra, OFSS, Infosys, Mind tree were the losers with a loss 2.91%, 2.71%, 1.82%, 1.43%, 1.37%, 1.07%, 0.84%, 0.40% respectively.
