DAILY CURRENCY MARKET 9th SEP 2019

The rupee opened 5 paise higher at 71.69 against the US dollar on Monday. USD/INR touched intraday low of 71.49 and high of 71.73. The rupee closed 3 paise higher at 71.71 against the dollar as China's easing move and rate cut hopes by the US Fed enthused investors. Meanwhile, Sensex was up 163.68 points or 0.44 % at 37145.45 and Nifty was up 56.85 points or 0.52% at 11003.05.

The Rupee was trading at 79.10 as against Euro. The currency pair EUR/INR opened at 79.08, which was previously close at 79.05. The Currency pair GBP/INR and JPY/INR were trading at 88.64 and 0.67 respectively. The other currencies pairs ZAR/INR, MYR/INR, SAR/INR and AED/INR were trading at 4.88, 17.18, 19.11 and 19.51 subsequently.

The USD/JPY was trading at 106.95. The currency pair EUR/USD was trading at 1.10. The paired currency EUR/JPY was trading at 118.24. Elsewhere, the currency pair GBP/USD was trading at 1.24. The other currencies pairs AUD/USD, NZD/USD, MYR/USD and SAR/USD were trading at 0.69, 0.64, 0.24 and 0.27 respectively.
